SUSAN LAKE
Designer, Author, Choreographer and Headwear Design Artist. Based in Palm Springs CA., educated on the East Coast with a B.S. in Music Education and Theater, she has worked in all areas of both the visual and performing arts. Susan currently creates theatrical Headwear and accessories for National and International designers, dance artists, performers and bjd dolls. Her reputation for innovative, cutting edge designs has made her a sought after artists for a variety of speaking, teaching and costuming situations. Her designs exist both at the realm of handmade and technical. She is known for her extreme design concepts and her work has been showcased in both museums and literary exhibits. She is the founder of the TANGOCENTRIC dance project, The Artistic Director/Producer of the Tango Ball in San Diego Ca., owner of Susan Lake Designs and was interview by CNN en Espanol as one of Southern California's outstanding multitalented Artists.
